Paris Regional Health Welcomes General Surgeon Valeria Simone, MD

Paris Regional Health announced that Valeria Simone, MD, has joined its medical staff and is now seeing patients at 2850 Lewis Lane, Suite 103. A board-certified general surgeon, Dr. Simone provides care for a range of general surgical needs, including minimally invasive surgery, trauma surgery and colorectal surgery.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Simone to Paris Regional Health,” said Amanda Green, Chief Medical Officer of Paris Regional Health. “Her training and experience expand access to general surgery services and support the care available to patients throughout our region.”

Dr. Simone’s clinical focus includes gallbladder, gastric and intestinal surgery; colorectal surgery; upper and lower surgical endoscopy; laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery; trauma surgery; and hernia repair.

Dr. Simone earned undergraduate degrees in chemical engineering and biology from MIT before receiving her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital and Ryder Trauma Center, followed by fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery at Advanced Surgical Institute.

Dr. Simone is certified by the American Board of Surgery. She has experience as an educator and attending surgeon at Columbia University and in private practice in Southlake, Texas. Her approach combines surgical experience with compassionate, patient-centered care.
