The Paris Regional Health Laboratory is a full-service facility equipped with the latest technology and computerization. The clinical laboratory provides a broad spectrum of testing. Services are provided in all the major clinical laboratory disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, immunology, microbiology and point-of-care testing with same-day results in most disciplines. Pathology services are also provided.
Additionally, a full service transfusion service is maintained to meet the needs of the hospital’s inpatient, surgical and outpatient units. The laboratory provides a convenient draw station on campus for outpatient and day surgery services. Patient safety and quality of test results are a priority. Laboratory services are fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists and is Medicare/Medicaid approved.
