Exciting Facility Upgrades Underway at Paris Regional Health
September 03, 2025
Paris Regional Health is excited to share updates on several facility improvements designed to create a more welcoming and comfortable environment for patients, families, and staff. These projects, which will continue through the end of this year and into early 2026, reflect the hospital’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional care and modern facilities for the community.
Emergency Department Lobby Renovation
The Emergency Department lobby will receive a fresh new look with updated paint, flooring, and new furniture. These changes will create a brighter, more comfortable space for patients and families. A temporary waiting area will be available nearby during renovations so the community can continue to access care seamlessly.
Second Floor Roof Replacement
Paris Regional Health will also be updating the roof over Women’s and Children’s services over the next few months. This important upgrade will help preserve and strengthen the hospital’s facilities, ensuring the building continues to serve patients, families, and staff for years to come.
Elevator Upgrades
Paris Regional Health will be replacing all three elevators in the main lobby, a major project that is essential for staff, patients, and visitors who rely on them to move safely and efficiently across all five floors of the hospital. This significant undertaking represents a substantial investment in the hospital’s infrastructure and will ensure a reliable, modern, and accessible experience for everyone. Completion is expected in 2026.
“These projects are part of our commitment to making communities healthier by providing modern, welcoming spaces for care,” said Steve Hyde, CEO. “We are grateful for the community’s support as we continue improving our facilities for everyone who relies on Paris Regional Health.”
Paris Regional Health remains dedicated to delivering exceptional care while enhancing the overall patient and visitor experience.
