Paris, Texas – August 20, 2025 – Paris Regional Health is excited to share the name of our second surgical robot: “Rosie.”

 

After inviting our local providers’ offices to participate in the naming process, the winning suggestion came from Sharon Young of Dr. Robert Young’s office.

 

“Rosie is the perfect name for our newest robot,” said Keri Amis, Director of Growth and Outreach. “It represents both strength and care, and we love that the name came from one of our local provider teams. This process has been a fun way to involve our community in the growth of our robotics program.”

 

Paris Regional Health introduced its second robot earlier this year to expand access to minimally invasive surgical options. With two robots now available, even more patients can benefit from smaller incisions, reduced pain, shorter hospital stays, and quicker recovery times.

 

The addition of “Rosie” reflects Paris Regional Health’s ongoing investment in innovation and our commitment to offering the most advanced surgical care close to home.
