Paris Regional Health Celebrates Internal Medicine Residency Milestones and Honors Outstanding Contributors

Paris, Texas – August 7, 2025 – Paris Regional
Health’s Internal Medicine Residency Program recently hosted a celebratory
award ceremony to recognize the achievements and progression of its
Post-Graduate Year One (PGY-1) residents as they advance to their second year
of residency.
This annual event marks a significant milestone for the
residents and is an opportunity to highlight exceptional contributions made by
both faculty and residents throughout the academic year.
During the celebration, special awards were presented to recognize outstanding performance and dedication:
- Outstanding Resident of the Year was awarded to Dr. Mariana Gil for her exemplary clinical skills, leadership, and commitment to patient care and medical education.
- Faculty of the Year was awarded to Dr. Bielose Konwe, honoring his dedication to mentoring residents, advancing medical education, and fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Resident Clinical
Excellence Award
was presented to Dr. Syeda Simrah Fatima in recognition of her
clinical acumen, professionalism, and compassionate care.
