Paris Regional Health Welcomes New Class of Internal Medicine Residents

June 27, 2025

Paris Regional Health proudly welcomes the second class of Internal Medicine resident physicians. This group of six residents joins Paris Regional Health's Internal Medicine Residency Program, in collaboration with the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth’s Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. The program, accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), offers an exceptional training experience in graduate medical education.

“Paris Regional Health is excited to welcome this new class of talented physicians,” stated Saji Pillai, MD, the Internal Medicine Residency Program Director and Associate Professor at Paris Regional Health. “Building upon the groundwork established by the inaugural class, we are confident that their contributions will strengthen our program and continue to elevate the care we deliver to our patients.”

These residents were selected through the highly competitive National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Main Residency Match, which pairs medical school graduates with residency positions nationwide. The new residents come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the program.

Throughout their three years of training, residents will acquire comprehensive clinical experience, learn from experienced faculty, and contribute to patient care under the supervision of attending physicians. The program emphasizes clinical excellence, patient-centered care, personal well-being, teamwork, curiosity, community impact, and service.
