We offer:
- Bereavement counseling and grief support resources
- Memory-making services for families who wish to honor their baby
- Referrals to local and national support groups
Our goal is to ensure no family faces this journey alone. Please speak with your nurse or care provider for confidential support.
Cuddle Cots
As part of this support, our hospital offers access to a cuddle cot, in accordance with Everly’s Law, a Texas law designed to ensure families have time and space to say goodbye.
What Is a Cuddle Cot?
A cuddle cot is a specially designed cooling device that allows families to spend meaningful private time with their baby after loss. By gently cooling, the device helps slow natural physical changes, making it possible for parents and loved ones to hold, bond with and say goodbye to their baby during their hospital stay.
Cuddle cots are used only when a family chooses them and can support memory‑making moments such as holding, dressing, photographs and time with family members.
