Our Intensive Care Unit is a modern, 16-bed combined medical-surgical unit which accommodates respiratory, cardiac, neuro and trauma patients. The Paris Regional Health Critical Care Services Team is comprised of ICU, Step-Down, Telemetry, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehab, Emergency Services and a PTCA Holding/Recovery unit. This unit is proud to be home to 10 nationally-certified nurses as well as an intensivist who is on-site to assist in the management of ICU patients. Our ICU has 24/7 physician coverage provided by Dr. Ghana Khadka and Dr. Mark Ferris, Pulmonologists.
In order to provide and promote patient privacy, we ask that no more than two visitors remain with the patient between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. We request that only one visitor remain with the patient between the hours of 8:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the ICU at any time. Please use caution when visiting the ICU and consider the health of our patients as well as yourself. If you were recently or are currently ill, please do not enter the ICU. We appreciate your understanding.
